Finding the Perfect Spot
For the most up-to-date reviews and hidden gems, we recommend checking TripAdvisor. It’s the go-to resource on the island for viewing menus, price ranges, and photos from fellow travellers.
Tip: If you see a place you love, it’s always wise to call ahead or book online, especially for weekend dinners in Valletta or St. Julian’s.
Staying In? Food at Your Doorstep
If you’d rather enjoy a quiet night in our home, Malta has two primary delivery services that offer everything from gourmet burgers to healthy salads. Please note that Uber Eats is not available in Malta.

Places To Visit
Whether you are a history buff, a sun seeker, or an adventurer, Malta packs a lot into a small space. Here are the "must-see" spots to add to your itinerary.
The Historic Cities
Valletta (The Capital): A UNESCO World Heritage site. Don't miss St. John’s Co-Cathedral (the interior is breathtaking) and the Upper Barrakka Gardens for the best view of the Grand Harbour.
Mdina (The Silent City): Malta’s medieval former capital. It’s a fortified city with narrow, winding streets. It’s especially magical to walk through at night when the crowds have gone.
The Three Cities (Birgu, Isla, Bormla): Directly across the water from Valletta. Take a traditional dgħajsa (water taxi) from Valletta for a few euros to get the best experience.
Sun, Sea & Nature
The Blue Lagoon (Comino): Famous for its neon-blue water.
Local Tip: Go early (before 9:00 AM) to beat the large tour boats, or consider a sunset boat trip.
Blue Grotto: Located in the south, these natural sea caves are best visited in the morning when the sunlight reflects off the white sandy bottom, creating vivid shades of blue.
Golden Bay & Għajn Tuffieha: The island’s most beautiful sandy beaches, perfect for watching the sunset.
Ancient Wonders & Villages
Ħaġar Qim & Mnajdra Temples: These megalithic structures are older than the Egyptian Pyramids and Stonehenge.
Marsaxlokk: A traditional fishing village famous for its colourful "Luzzu" boats. The Sunday Fish Market is a major highlight, but the village is charming any day of the week for a seafood lunch.
Gozo Island: Just a 25-minute ferry away. It’s greener, quieter, and home to the stunning Citadel in Victoria and the Ggantija Temples.
